A Wonderful holiday - 12 Km’s offshore we spotted a Loggerhead turtle and jumped in for a swim at 250 meters depth..

At the end of a wonderful holiday on the Mijas Costa, we decided to hire a boat called Isabella Rosa from www.sailing-mediterranean.com from Puerto Benalmadena and head out to sea for a day in search of Dolphins. 12 Km’s offshore we spotted a Loggerhead turtle and jumped in for a swim at 250 meters depth.. Daddy snapped away with his waterproof camera without goggles he did not know what he was photographing – imagine our surprise when the attached photos cameout. We emailed a Marine University in America and they said she looks about ten years old and that apart from the barnacles on her she looked well. We may not have seen Dolphins this year but we saw one of the rarest reptiles in the World whilst sailing the Mediterranean. It was a fantastic end to a brilliant month in Spain and we have called her Tallulah the Tortuga – so look out for her should you take a trip on the Isabella Rosa.
